The Model Manager Program
Your leadership team has hammered out your organization’s vision. You’ve charted the direction and you know where you’re going. Now you need to build the necessary management skills into your managers to get you there.
That’s what the Model Manager Program is all about! Your managers get the ultimate Tough Training experience. This is unlike any workshop we’re ever produced. If your hospice does not have a top-tier management development system, this is a course that you can use for your managers as well as a program that you can “take back” to your hospice to create your own! The skills to lead a clinical team or other area are MANAGEMENT SKILLS! Three Multi-View teacher/managers (that KNOW the system) including Multi-View founder, Andrew Reed, teach, push and drill participants in these skills.
Participants will learn a very specific set of skills and then they’ll hone their skills on video, in small groups and with specific tools. This is not a program for the faint-hearted.
This 2.5-day “experiential” learning program that provides laser-beam focus on the specific skills needed to be devastatingly effective as a leader and manager of any area, with special emphasis on the Clinical Leader position. It is the business of Hospice translated into concrete action. Most of the learning is achieved via PRACTICE…that is “actually doing it.” The program focuses on business skills such as
- How to Build a Team
- How to Hold People Accountable
- How to Manage to the Model even with Fluctuations in Patient-Volume
- How to Run a Meeting
- What to do in Various Scenarios
- How to Manage with MVI reports
- Hiring and Firing
- How to do the 1st Duty of a Leader
- How to Teach the Visit, Phone Skills and Documentation Structure
The 1st Duty of all leaders and managers is the responsibility to train and develop the people they lead. 70% of an employee’s development comes directly from the leader! Recognizing this fact and addressing it aggressively is critical as it this is the only way to replicate extraordinary care. This topic will receive the most emphasis in the program.
