Upgrade to CYMA 16 for Payroll Clients
If you use CYMA to process your payroll the time has come to start looking at when a good time will be to upgrade to CYMA v16. Because CYMA 17 will be coming out soon, and CYMA will only support the 2 newest versions of the software for payroll updates, this needs to be done no later than Dec. 31, 2017 to make sure your installation is able to be supported. Ideally we would recommend completing the upgrade prior to the Thanksgiving holiday, since schedules become difficult to coordinate come December.
There is no cost to upgrade your CYMA software to the newest version assuming your organization has a current CYMA Software Maintenance Package. However, there may be a cost associated with upgrading to the newest version of Actian (formerly Pervasive) PSQL, so we need to start planning for that as soon as possible.
